Reporting to Sales & Marketing Manager, the incumbent will develop and implement an effective market entry strategy for lubrication products.
Key responsibilities
- Expand lubricants’ business and increase profitability
- Monitor market development and analyze their impact on the lubricants business
- Developing and implementing strategies and plans to deliver desired results
- Provide technical support to customers
Requirements
- First degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Production, Engineering or related discipline.
- Diploma in Marketing is an added advantage
- Minimum 5 years experience in Sales and Marketing
- Excellent Communication, presentation and negotiation skills
- Ability to plan
- Ability to sell in a highly competitive market
- Expertise in supply chain and logistics
- Experience in interacting with installers, end users and heavy industry users for Lubrication products

REF: HR 02/ 04/09: TERRITORY MANAGER - LUBRICANTS
Reporting to Lubricants Manager, the job holder will be expected to build sales and gain market penetration through development and implementation of proactive sales strategies.
Key responsibilities
- Acquire new business opportunities for lubricants
- Enforce compliance of EHSS and operational procedures and regulations in all Retail /Commercial outlets in the region, as may be assigned.
- Conduct wholesale and retail price surveys in lubricants
- Coordinate sales of lubricants
- Ensures regular maintenance of the Corporation’s assets
- Coordinate repair and servicing of service station equipment for lubes
- Provides business advise to the station dealers to increase sales volume and work more efficiently
- Coordinate sales promotions, campaigns and customer open days within the territory
- Organize dealer meetings and forecourt staff trainings
- Receive and attend to customer complaints
- Ensure customers trade within approved credit limits
- Conduct market intelligence
- Ensure compliance to statutory requirements for business sites in respective territories

REF:HR 03/04/09: TERRITORY MANAGER-COMMERICAL & INDUSTRIAL SEGMENT
Reporting to Sales & Marketing Manager, the job holder will be expected to drive sales in the commercial and Industrial segment of the market with a view of growing sales volumes and margins within the sales territory.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement Commercial and Industrial sales business strategies
- Acquire new business opportunities and maintain existing business within the sales territory.
- Provide professional management of sales and customer service
- Conduct market intelligence with a view of positioning the company as the most competitive in price, product range and quality
- Conduct regular price surveys
- Provide business advice to clients on product knowledge and efficient management of stocks.
- Coordinate customer relations activities with a view of gathering customer complaints, compliments and to improve relations
- Enforce good management of credit to ensure customers operate within approved credit limit and timely collections
- Enforce compliance of EHS and operational procedures and regulations at appointed customer facilities.
- Coordinates sales promotion campaigns and customer open days within the territory.
- Coordinates the issuance and maintenance of Corporate’s equipment given to clients for purpose of improving sales
- Receive and attend to customer complaints
- Ensure compliance to statutory requirements for all business dealings
- Coordinate with other sections or departments to channel sales opportunities for other products e.g LPG & Lubes.
Requirements
- First degree in Commerce; Marketing option or Business related discipline.
- Diploma in marketing is an added advantage
- Minimum 3 years work experience
- Excellent communication, presentation skills and negotiation skills.
- Ability to sell in a highly competitive market
- Experience in FMCG management
- Ability to work under pressure
